History
The owner of the house, Jason, Told us that he and his family were
hearing something walking around at night while they were sleeping. His wife
had seen a lady down in the living room who was wearing a white nightgown. She
has seen her twice since they moved there one year ago. There was activity on
the stairway to their basement, as well as the attic. Jason has an IC recorder
that he uses to capture the voices of the paranormal. The voices in the
recorder showed us that there was something in their house…
Investigation #1
Dave and I arrived together with our equipment for the
investigation. We set up two cameras in their house. One was located in the
living room facing the stairway. The second was up stairs in one of the rooms
facing the hallway. Most of the activity was in the living room and the
stairway. So if any spirits moved through that area, we would be able to see
something. The lights went out and we started asking questions. Jason’s
brother and I started down to the basement where a lot of the activity was
located. We took readings with the EMF gun. There were a couple of areas where
it would spike, but we saw that there were a lot of power cables along the
ceiling. I used my Sony nightspot infrared camera to video the area around. No
activity was going on down there so we walked up stairs and up to the second
floor. We chose the attic as our next area. I sat my video camera on a c.d.
player facing the entire room. While we were there I heard a sound from one of
the guitars sitting on the floor. It sounded like someone plucked a string on
the guitar once. I looked at them and took pictures to see if I could see
anything. Nothing showed up on the picture so we moved on. I left my video
camera up there so if anything was up there, we’d catch it. I got back down in
the living room when Jason’s friends told me there was a lot of activity moving
through the room. I took out my EMF detector and started scanning the area.
When I got to the stairs I noticed that there was a big spike. It started at
1.5 and moved to 3 where it stayed steady. As I walked away it started to
decrease. I asked Jason if there were any lines running through the wall, he
said that there were, but they were disconnected. Looking around I walked to
the basement door where I saw an electrical box under the stairs. We decided
the box was the reason why the EMF spiked, so we packed up our stuff and called
it a night.
Findings and Reading
After I analyzed all the footage on the video, and camera I listened
to the EVP’s of that night. I heard a few voices after some of the questions.
I pulled them off and cleaned them up. I could hear that there was another
being there with us that night. The video showed activity going through the
living room. We watched to see if it was dust, but it was making turns and
stopping. There was no airflow like that in the house. Some of the activity
headed up the stairs towards the second floor. The way that they were moving
was different than what I’ve seen dust do.
